About me

Translator, interpreter and terminologist

Laura Iovanna

My name is Laura Iovanna and I am a professional translator, interpreter and terminologist. In 2002, I graduated in translation and interpreting (specialising in conference interpreting) from the Advanced School of Modern Languages for Interpreters and Translators (SSLMIT – now IUSLIT) of the University of Trieste. At the end of my studies, I gained important professional experience in the industry, working and living in different countries (Czech Republic, Belgium and Luxembourg) for 5 years.
After returning to Italy in 2006, I started my activity as a freelancer and continue today to work in translation, interpreting, terminology as well as offering language courses and consultancy, collaborating with institutes, institutions and companies throughout Italy, Europe and at an international level.
